2009 vintage. Pale gold. Smells intensely like, well, Riesling. Very mineral, combined with flowers and honey. Cristal-clear crispy fruit, the residual Auslese-like sugar beautifully balanced with mouth-watering bright acidity. The intensity and length of these wines is amazing with such low alcohol (abv. 7,5%). Still very young as these wines can age forever. Another great effort from this top producer. — 5 years ago

Cahill earns her place on the rich end Of the spectrum and the 2012 vintage shows that character especially well. Ripe orchard fruits. Apricots. Cultured butter. Brioche. Abv is warm but the style supports it. — 10 years ago
Creamy and smooth but modestly sour with rich flavor. Very refreshing sour. — 11 years ago
Good stuff for $24 (6 yrs ago)... — 12 years ago
Suuper reductive, with funky notes of petrol and sour cream. Quite spritely too - almost lemonade-like. The palate is intense, concentrated, powerful and acidic and honestly quite inscrutable at this stage. Wow, this is a serious Riesling that demands patience. 90++ — 2 years ago

delicate graceful fruitfully delightful, great start for a celebratory feast — 10 years ago
Awesome example of a more terroir focused zinfandel. Fruity and juicy on the nose but restrained. Very fruit forward of the palate but not at all jammy. Nice earth and tannins to balance the fruit. Great long and gentile finish. — 11 years ago
Lucille. Holy WOW! This is American excellence. Lemon stones and reduction xtreme. Wish I could try this in 10 yrs. Perf. — 3 years ago
Nice sweet red — 4 years ago
Very slight fizz, pale straw colour. An attractive mix of pear, quince and something a little more exotic, like pineapple. Mid-acidity and sweetness with shortish length as all in balance. Light and enjoyable. Tasted again after a couple of nights in the fridge this had put on weight and become richer and more round and very harmonious - Delicious — 5 years ago
A fascinating nose mingles sea breeze, intimations of wet stone, and smoky struck flint with high-toned nut extracts, ripe nectarine and mango. The lusciously fruited, creamy, almost weightless palate leads into a sensationally sustained, at once soothing and stimulating finish that left my salivary glands palpitating and that, for all of its sheer richness, not to mention high residual sugar, displays a fascinating array of stony, smoky and saline mineral nuances. Incredible experience. This lightly sparkling Pinot/ Blauer Portugieser is a revelation. Being German, I didn't even know something like this exists. Mind blowing. — 8 years ago
Classic Walter Scott. Lighter on the palate. Slight wood. Cherry. — 10 years ago

Excellent chard, beautiful golden color, fragrant pear on the nose, good full bodied follow through on the palate. Only demerit is the slightest acidic twist at the back end. But that mellows after breathing awhile. Don’t overchill — 2 years ago
