@Todd Abrams I was feeling frisky so I opened this guy up. I guess I was expecting something like a lemonhead candy. Surprise. There is lemon there more like a lemon edge followed by something nutty. Maybe almonds. That's what I usually get with all of these palate cleansers. Very enjoyable. Thanks dude!! — 8 years ago
A thoughtful rather powerful Pinot Noir Rosé (20% Trollinger, too), pale orange in color, redolent of grapefruit skin & yellow rose on the nose, with some heft, as I've got 2014 here in August '16, emerging in the weight. Not a frisky rosé, reflecting Schnaitmann's serious & head-turning Württemberg Pinot Noirs. — 9 years ago
Domaine Larue comes through again! A bit bound up at first open but then shining red cherry and frisky acidity. — 9 years ago
I adore this flirty, frisky, surprisingly earthy Gamay in bubbles! Ideal brunch wine #ForAllTomorrowsParties — 9 years ago
Frisky but smooth. — 7 years ago
My go-to pizza wine this winter. It's frisky and dances on the tongue. Too bad the case I got is almost gone. — 8 years ago

Very frisky and effervescent. Full and rich mouth feel. Better in a few years. This bottle disgorged Oct. 2012. Happy New Year! — 9 years ago
Nicely golden. Full and round. Almost frisky. — 7 years ago
I asked the staff at Total Wine for something a bit different and this was their pick- big bold and unapologetic- excellent choice if you are feeling a bit frisky — 8 years ago
Maybe my favorite white wine I've had in 5 years...definitely the best one I've had this year. So rich and so "frisky". — 9 years ago
Is this a vermouth, or a Chinato from a great Barbaresco estate? I don't guess it matters to this frisky "vino aromatizzato" by Punset, as it could shine in a Mezcal Manhatten or delight alongside a plate of drowned figs & Gorgonzola dolce! The choice, my friends, is up to you! Psssst, plus it's very affordable!! — 9 years ago
Leah's brand spanking new Côt, aka Malbec, hails from Crater Lake Vineyard on ancient marine sedimentary soils. Frisky acidity keeps the black raspberry starry depths in focus. It's a baby, though it's a pretty niña, I can't wait to see all the places this Côt will go. For now, being in my glass is mighty fine! — 9 years ago
Redolent of plums and white pepper, but transparent with a decade of age. Lively, even prickly, the subdued fruit reveals a playful skeleton still frisky. Yeah, 10 yr old Dolcetto for ten bucks. What a steal!! — 10 years ago

Would you just look at that crimson colour! So inviting; I almost wanted to wrap a Christmas present in that as I sat down by the fire awaiting old St. Nick. Of course, it’s July, so it’s more of a nostalgic thing. I decanted for a full hour prior to the first taste, but this was still tight and needed more time. Being a Ladoix, I was worried it would still present as too young; too powerful. I wasn’t wrong and this will continue to evolve for many more years. That said, I do think it has passed its first phase of evolution and, with time, it showed. Medium tannin. Medium alcohol. Nose dominated by cranberry, violets, garden soil and rhubarb. Solid, if not fantastic length. Perhaps lacking the most refined concentration but it’s not without focus. This is definitely a little more primal than the top tier of burgundy but it’s also half (or less) of the typical price tag. If you were in a mellow burgundy mood but also felt like you might get a little frisky, this is your wine. — 6 years ago
