One of my favorite Barberas — 6 years ago
Another wine from Greg’s friend Andrew. A little chalky. But should open up. Very nice. Beautiful color. — 6 years ago
Tomato, strawberry, thyme, tarragon, dusty minerality, cherry blossom, rose, lavender. Zesty acidity and very soft fine grained tannins. Elegant.🌹 — 2 years ago

Reddish in color.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red currants, fresh cherries, light oak, herbs, light earth, spices, chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old feels very young at the moment. Fruity with mild complexity. Soft and smooth. Elegant with good structure.
Needs time to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Little past prime. Raisin ish. Still enjoyed — 5 years ago
Dizzying aroma of lavender, mint, fresh rose petals and earthy clay. Immediately on the palate a rush of fresh, vibrant raspberry. The mid palate opens to herbal softness stricken with a laser-sharp acidity that balances beautifully. A lingering and pleasant tannic structure leaves you begging for another sip. — 6 years ago
Dark cherry, balsamic notes and a hint of rose petal. Tasting week right now but with life left in it for 10 years of drinking pleasure. — 6 years ago
Too young, however a good representation of a young blended Barolo. — 7 years ago

This is showing beautifully right now, with a beguiling blend of orange peel, cassis, and anise aromas that carry over to the palate, where black cherries, balsamic notes, and a delicate mix of earthy autumnal spices provide a sensuous background. Soft mouthfeel with fine tannins that peek out a bit on the long finish, where the spiced citrus seems to last forever. Paired perfectly with pan-roasted wild mushrooms and dry-aged ribeye. — 4 months ago
