Color is almost tawny, long finish, big tannins but nice. Smokey, leathery, red fruit is what is coming to mind for some reason. I would have this again! — a year ago

Musty on the nose to begin. Fruit still forward given the age. Surprising flint and gunpowder notes. Showing it’s age with raisin characteristics. Some Australian honey!

Decanted for 1.5 hours first - a little rough at first but opened up - tart cherries, ripe fruit, very round and smooth but tannins have a strong grip. Great with steak! — 5 years ago
