Spicy on the nose, smooth on the finish. Great tannins. — 8 years ago
Cantaloupe, honeydew, lime zest on the palate. Subtle grassy hints, lemon lime, salt air on the nose. Enjoyable if simple. — 9 years ago

This is Sauvignon. — 12 years ago
Dizzying aroma of lavender, mint, fresh rose petals and earthy clay. Immediately on the palate a rush of fresh, vibrant raspberry. The mid palate opens to herbal softness stricken with a laser-sharp acidity that balances beautifully. A lingering and pleasant tannic structure leaves you begging for another sip. — 6 years ago
Dark cherry, balsamic notes and a hint of rose petal. Tasting week right now but with life left in it for 10 years of drinking pleasure. — 6 years ago
Very engaging, full bodied. Robust but not overpowering in any area. Great flavors. Much less exciting the second day I tasted. — 8 years ago
Nicely balanced, nuanced, and unique. — 8 years ago
Serralunga grapes (as does the 2012 vintage), deeper fruit on nose, more spice/smoke/dried meats, really nice. Well balanced. — 9 years ago

Musty on the nose to begin. Fruit still forward given the age. Surprising flint and gunpowder notes. Showing it’s age with raisin characteristics. Some Australian honey!

Interesting old Barolo (1964). Still highly acidic, a little bit pruny, but good leather, tar, and earth. Served first with a lamb ragu and tagliatelle. — 5 years ago
