Pretty - floral, strawberries and cherries with nice freshness & length, linearly carrying some spice underneath. — 5 years ago
Sweet, lightly carbonated and biblical. You can't just drink one glass. — 6 years ago
About as good an example of Smaragd as I've seen recently. Cauliflower, honeyed, mealy apple, oily and rich. — 9 years ago

Not your uncle’s Pinot Grigio. Full bodied and luscious with ripe orchard fruit, minerals, and enough structure to keep evolving in the cellar. This was a fun left field bottle to share with wine geeks at thanksgiving. $40

Had to crack a ‘21 and put one in the cellar for a few years. Very impressed. But of course KP nails this variety. A but rounder than Riesling with different aromatics but still that good teeth shattering acidity and minerality. Paired with khao soi. — a year ago
