Super floral. Smells like crushing frangipani in your hands. Fresh and ripe blueberry note and cardamon aromas too. Super bright and juicy. — 9 years ago
Love love love this wine. Made by Gerhard Kraacher. Haven't had it since New York, so plsed to finally find it in CA. Orange chiffon, tiaré, which I think means frangipani, sandy sun-blasted air, and marzipan. Stellar with southern Indian food. Get some. — 10 years ago
Good taste. Full body. Only slightly aftertaste but not bad — 9 years ago

Served blind. On fist sip I thought cab franc. On second merlot. I was told it was a blend. I figured cool blue fruits it could be Sonoma. It was a bit closed at first but 30 minutes later it exploded with a plushy softness. Wonderful frangipani, cardamom and reddish cassis. This is really quite beautiful and a real treat. I have no idea why rating average is in the 8s on this. The only reason I didn't go higher was a somewhat short finish. So large, natural, supple and above all human. Amazing aromatics: baking spice, Asian spice. Honey, acacia, chamomile, frangipani. An important wine, its beauty transcendent. — 11 years ago
This has had a full 24 hours to open up and my god it has changed immensely. Showing such precision and beautifully ripe fruit. Crushed frangipani, ripe red currants, Apple bubblegum, rosewater, white pepper and raspberry liquor aromatics. Palate flows seemlessly, you wouldn't know you're drinking alcohol either. Berry acidity and subtle tannins to note too, an amazing wine — 9 years ago
Frangipani, quince, lemonade, apple sauce and a squeeze of lime. Medium bodied in the palate with texture set to oily and finishes off with a medium, slightly bitter, finish. — 10 years ago
Beautiful bitter peel, pear skin, candle wax. Much more austere than 2009, which was all floral 'ramato' pink citrus. 2010 showed much more in the "cold" flavor spectrum, cold restrained aromatics, white spice, hint of frangipani. — 11 years ago
