Cornas is & always will be one of my absolutely favorite Appellations in whole France. What a stunning showing from Frank Balthazar. The nose shows a beautiful melange of lush dark cherries, smoked meat, violets, crushed stone and a hint of thyme. On the palate this guy is so well balanced with a beautiful integrated acidity. Very round, fine, long finish with a lovely "graphite" touch on the back end. Can play with a lot of different food. Worth every damn penny. — 9 years ago

Fruit/floral bouquet, w/chalky minerals. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, showing quality. Outstanding rich flavors of peach, lemon and honey, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Saturday afternoon enjoying this Sancerre Pinot Noir Rose beautiful peach in color.

The nose is very expressive in red fruit, lots of strawberries, peach aromatics, vanilla with nice wet river rock.

On the palate I get under ripe strawberry, sour peach with a very prominent minerality.

There is a very long finish, clean and fresh with medium + acidity. A very nice summer rose.
