So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 6 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 9 years ago
2001. Flor and raw chestnuts. — 9 years ago
Smoke & earth on the nose. Ripe red & black fruit held in check by bright acidity. Grainy tannins — 9 years ago

Delicious and tart, bright orchard, but creamy. Beautiful — 6 years ago
Whoa nelly. So glad to have found this in the back of the fridge. Oxidation folded in; an old cheese of a wine. And bright. Friend of Indian food! — 6 years ago
джем из садовой вишни, с нотами лакрицы и розового перца, оттенки сухой пыльной земли. Много остаточного алкоголя, кислотность низкая; полнотелое, можно еще подождать — 8 years ago

Another interesting wine from Rosenthal. 2010 vintage...Slightly oxidized, with resin and medicinal / herbal notes, but crisp and delicious — 9 years ago
Aaaaaahhh. Burgundy. How do I love thee! — 10 years ago

96 points? No way. Fine village wine with clean 2010 fruit. Great for its pedigree. Happy to drink it. — 9 years ago
