Wow, what a bouquet, showing crushed cherry and strawberry mixed with wild herbs, yellow florals and crushed stone. It continued to open more and more over time. On the palate I found youthfully lean textures with tart black cherry, bitter herbs, zesty acidity and savory mineral tones. @David A Lentine opened this tonight with dinner. Wow, thank you so much! This is Sequoia Grove at its best. It's just perfect now, all the tannins have fully integrated with flavors of cassis, blackberry, with some cherry and herb at the finish. Brilliantly balanced.
