Burst of cherry on the front just enough tannins and a very pleasing finish. Paired nicely with beef short ribs. — 7 years ago
Good times in Nashville. — 8 years ago
New project of Doug Shafer and Elias Fernandez. Beautiful Malbec - full body, lots of character, still young, probably needs more time, but definitely age worthy! Coffee beans, mocha, milk chocolate covered cherry, vanilla, sandalwood. Layers of complexity! Needs time to open up. Velvety finish. — 9 years ago
Good fruity flavor, great nose, could probably stand to age a couple of years but still solid! — 9 years ago
Nice, big full California red. Highly drinkable from the moment the cork is free! — 11 years ago
I’m not a big fan of Pinot Gris, and the last time I tried an oregano Pinot Gris was probably about 4 years ago when I visited Portland, but this is really nice.
The fragrant nose was full of peach, lime, apricot, chalk, and ad ever so slightly hint of vanilla. Medium to full body with round palate and lovely acidity.
Takes me back to the beautiful Willamette Valley! — 4 years ago

Wonderful Zinfandel from California. Would certainly buy again. Good nose and rich dark complex flavors, not dry — 5 years ago

Nice plum and strawberry flavors with a touch of spice and mineral. — 6 years ago
Silky, spicy, texturally perfect. Tyson makes some of the best wine in Oregon, including a Pinot and Chardonnay from this site. Four winds is a horse farm, 8 miles northwest of McMinnville, about 6 acres of fruit (?), marine-sedimentary, dense on the palate, acid, fresh. Pretty much perfect. This wine is why you drink Pinot with pork and salmon. Going to be really good in 2020-2021, maybe longer — 7 years ago
Very drinkable. — 8 years ago
Very fine Rose. Yum. — 9 years ago
2011 Four Cairn Syrah Napa Valley. Deep purple with blueberry, clove and black pepper flavors. Intriguing. Will take some time before opening another. — 10 years ago
