Another very solid IPA from Founders, showcasing Mosaic hops, citrus and Piny, orange peel, grapefruit, slight tropical hints, peach, pineapple, not too complex, just nice one dimensional mosaic hops, but that is good for those who do not understand how much one single hop can really make a very good IPA, just that very single Focus, gives you a deeper knowledge of how much one hop can defined a beer, and then you recognize that hop in other beers, but all that really means to be said about this beer, it is a very good beer in the style, and does exactly what it aims for, simply put, you like mosaic hops, this is the IPA for you — 9 years ago

First off, this one has beautiful ruby color, and a great fresh raspberry aroma. The flavor opens with slightly tart raspberry, and a mild sweetness that builds in the mid-palate. The maltiness of the ale comes in at the finish. — 9 years ago
