A nice Riesling, very fine and precise, confirm that 2008 was a great year for this estate, every sip is a treat, fresh, pure and lovely aromatic - Riesling vineyard in the' KIESELBERG' site is one of their older ones and provides with one 'Großes Gewächs' (Grand Cru) wines. The classification based on land tax legislation introduced by the Bavarian monarchy in 1828 ranks 'KIESELBERG' amongst the top sites of the Palatinate. — 11 years ago
Petrol note just beginning to develop. There is a whole lime tree in here too, with notes of the fruit, flower and leaf. Definitely worth cellaring. — 11 years ago
Siesta Cabernet Franc 2008. Forst Cabernet Franc for me. Great body — 12 years ago
Forst time at Langus, really smooth. Hit the spot — 10 years ago
2010. Salty mineral Riesling that is lively and feels vinified as dry as in a GG style. Much more lively than GG though. I'm curious if this grew in black basalt--aka Forst vineyard, because the palate takes me there a bit. — 11 years ago
Some mineral and unctuous texture. Quite brunt and salty. $22 — 12 years ago

2014 vintage. Concentrated orange and red fruit flavors: caramelized nectarine, Rainier cherries, raspberries, yellow flowers, apricot nectar, orange blossom water...all from a Grosse Lage site retailing for about $25! Yes, please! Sweetness is definitely present, with a touch of creaminess. Would like to see this again in about three years or so. — 9 years ago
