Opaque density with moderately slow tears. Slightly brambley nose, slight herb/mint, simple. Red to black cherry/lively raspberry. Front loaded on the palate w/smooth texture. I have finally concluded I prefer the Forchini over the Maple. Great finish on this one, not terribly expressive on the front end. Paired nicely with a spicy pasta course though. Good balance, wish it had a bit more personality. — 12 years ago
