Foppiano is an O.G. petite sirah producer, who unfortunately saw a precipitous decline in quality recently. The old stuff is still great though and is as ageable as anything. This is still big and black as night, but the tannins are starting to fade a bit. Still has the stuffing to go another 20, but it's great right now and is taking on secondary characteristics that most PS's never quite pick up. — 10 years ago
