A very different take on Nebbiolo, bags of fruit and unlike its Italian counterparts. Maybe not as long lived but very consumer friendly style that doesn't need too much bottle age or food to be enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Established in 1969, in Carneros in Napa Valley, cooled by fog from the San Pablo Bay. Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral scents. On the palate raspberry and strawberry fruit with baking spice and woody notes. Savory tannins, smooth and refreshing on lingering ending. Very nice. — 8 years ago

Loved this Sav Blanc. No acidity. Pear and subtle minerals -mellow-almost like a good Chardonnay. Drank it with the growers,Tom and Brenda; amongst the grapes on the hillside outside Calistoga. Just fabulous. — 9 years ago
Love this wine. I tried it at their winery, and ordered it today at a restaurant.

Sipping Fine Wine
Founded in 1982, Roederer Estate sparkling wines reflect the cool, fog-shrouded Anderson Valley, home to their family-owned estate's 600 acres of vineyards. Tiny bubbles, nice mousse with toasty fruit aromas for this blend of 52% Chardonnay & 48% Pinot Noir. Flavors of apple and nutty pear, biscuit notes, creamy, great mouthfeel. Lingering finish ending with spicy mineral notes. Smooth and crisp! — 8 years ago
