Haven't had Brunello since Italy in '07. Brings back a flood of memories. — 10 years ago
I really the the philosophy behind these wines. Made by Mike Etzel and Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, the fire comes from Jory soils, the flood from willakenzie . A powerful, big, and unmistakably new world pinot -- but remarkably balanced and not without grace. Fleshy raspberries, cinnamon, and scorched earth. I could drink many of these -- if however they weren't so aggressively priced... — 11 years ago

The bright clear red '12 Foris Pinot Noir 'Maple Ranch' has a sweet nose of blackberry, lavender and clove. The flavor of Dr. Pepper with chocolate and jammy dark fruit notes flood the palate. The silky texture builds depth before the penetrating unctuous finish. — 11 years ago
South Island brilliance striking near perfect balance between brawn and beauty, with an elegant nose of brambles and dry cherries with flavours that flood the palate with memories of youth tempered by age. Lively acidity will give this wine another decade of luscious, joy giving life. — 11 years ago
Great party champagne - especially when imbibing CA champagne with flood friends in CA!! — 13 years ago
Drank in DC with Kathy Flood. Typical Pinot. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Just superb. Daughter described it as vibrant. It's an exotic party in your mouth. Apricot, peaches and nectarines flood the senses. Somebody out there (with a palette) please try this vintage so I can calibrate my rating. — 8 years ago
I hit this at the right time. Straight forward Barolo style. Purity and character of Nebbiolo shows from start to finish. Shimmering red garnet color with dried cranberries, dozens of freshly cut roses, potpourri, pipe tobacco, and lively earth tonalities of pine bark, tar, and mulch on the nose. Savory expressions of balsamic and fresh red ruby grapefruit flood the palate. Tannins starting to become leathery. Already showing elegance and balance. 2010's give you that classic and traditional sense of Barolo. Cheers to Friday! And, may Chris Cornell Rest In Peace 🎸 — 9 years ago

Excellent Pinot. Drank at the Renaissance Chicago with Brian, Rory, Russell, Kathy Flood. Rust colored, earthy flavors, fruity. Drank a game the next day with Bruce Feldman. — 10 years ago
An opaque red/purple, the '00 Ojai Syrah '50% Roll Ranch 50% Bien Nacido' is richly scented with black raspberry, ground pepper and dark cherry notes. Powerful mouth-coating flavors of ripe black fruits with spicy cracked peppercorn accents then flood the palate. The fully-rounded and well-integrated tannins make the lingering finish lip-smackingly delicious. — 10 years ago
A pale gold, the '11 Auteur Chardonnay 'Hyde Vineyard' offers up ripe peach and orange marmalade aromas with some mineral nuances. Sweet stone fruit flavors flood the palate with a creamy refined mouthfeel. This CA Chard is more Burgundian in style than most. — 11 years ago
Tried 2 different vintages in a row, last night after a long day of clean up from water heater bursting and flood. Sunday night 2012 Roar Chard reminded me of Kistler style of Chard, in fined unfiltered, full body great fruit wonderfully balanced.. Like Kistler sentiment at bottom. Now tonight with trash half way down the street the 2011 Roar Sierra Mar Vineyard is rich as Chards get. Great fruit with nice mouth feel no sentiment , refreshing tropical fruits with just a touch of oak.. Boy is this good!! Having aged this a whole 1 year really gives this rich chard backbone and Grace!! Delicious!! Thank Everyone on Roar Vineyards for this Awesome Chard.. Charlie Beatty WineWorks Marlton — 11 years ago
2009 Waits-Mast Pinot Noir, Hayley Vineyard, Anderson Valley: 90 points. “Delivers plenty of rich Pinot flavor from the great Anderson Valley of Mendocino County. Raspberries, cherries, pomegranates, Dr. Pepper cola, spices and sandalwood flood the mouth, wrapped into a silky texture. Nice now, although it could develop bottle complexity over the next 3–4 years.” — 14 years ago
2007 Pierre Overnoy, Arbois Pupillin, Jura
This, is remarkable wine. Your instantly captured by the aromatics; an amalgam of smokey, tangy, and tertiary sensations. Your struck with a snap of minerality, then a flood of rich, viscous, nutty flavors follow. You sit back and savor the mouth filling finish that seems to last forever. Thrilling . — 8 years ago
Peppery yet oddly smooth. Nice wine. — 8 years ago
The Erratic is a blend of 46% Mourvèdre, 45% Syrah and 9% Grenache. On the nose, ripe red and dark sweet fruits, bandaid, black licorice, green notes, sweet spice and fresh dark florals. On the palate; spice infused fruits of; blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, blue fruits & strawberries. Crushed minerals, dry stones, violets & dark red florals, black cherry cola, mouthwatering acidity and rich, long, polished finished. The label shows the huge rocks that are all over the region brought in by the Missoula flood.

Exuberant and lively baked yellow apple pie aromas flood the nose, but back stage, crushed gravel, hazelnut, and butter take control. Wild yeast fermentation ushers in some diversity; something that you can't quite put your finger on. 2013 vintage's acidity and minerality is prevalent and gives it vibrancy. Palate is covered in buttered toast and fresh apples. Weight and alcohol is held together with the oak and acidity. Plush and creamy without being flat or outdated. Finish doesn't stop; 2+ minutes. Everything sits in balance. Very reminiscent of quality Beaune. Who's says butter can't be integrated properly in Chardonnay? Butter haters can go drink some haterade. #snowday — 9 years ago
Ripe red cherries, raspberries. Sweet spice, earthy, leather. Medium acidity, medium + tannin and body. Intense style of pinot. — 10 years ago
A big full bodied Langhorne Creek Red similar to the blockbusters in neighbouring McLaren Vale. Rich and ripe berry flavours that flood the mouth. Great with beef casserole. 17+ — 11 years ago

Looks like the 4th of July fireworks came a week late! Wet leather, tobacco, macerated cherries, fresh terricherry peppercorns sububtly roll up on your nose. Ripe black plums, Blackberries, cedar, baking spices, and dark cocoa flood through your mouth. Terrific finish full of life and lasts for a good 2 minutes. Dark ruby color, mouthwatering acidity, smooth tannins, so well balanced. such a treat. Have had a few bottles of early 1990’s cask 23, but all have been fairly disappointing until this bottle.
