Mathieu has taken over winemaking and has done a fabulous job. This was all bright mid red fruits with some hues of blue and soft earthiness. Fresh & pure wire to to wire and a really nice pair with Hedy’s amazing spicy pumpkin soup. @ Plate & Bottle. Plum, blackcherry, and black raspberry fruit too... rich and extracted in style. Palate delivers smokey dark cherry and plum, with cocoa shavings engulfed in vanilla and baking spices. Think cherry jubilee with vanilla bean ice cream. Tannins have softened and are balanced beautifully with elegant acidity. Rich and opulent.
