On the palate, medium minus acidity, medium plus alcohol, full body and concentration. Longish finish. Very good. Would probably wait another 2+ years to reach another level. Drink now until 2022+. Served out of the wine cabinet @ 56...black-cherry Jolly Rancher with herbs and earth. Warmed and opened up by the fire. Bright mid dark light red fruits with herbs, touch of spice, earth, presence of cooked green pepper and raspberry cola on the finish. Big acidity. Perplexing as it is seductive. Bright citrus, tangerine, white flower attack. Rich mid palate of stewed peach, ripe banana and candied walnut. Oak grip has found its place incredibly well. Cinnamon spice evolves with slight clove and lingering peppermint. — 9 years ago
