Loved this. Paired with fish as an early course in the best meals of our lives at Tegui in Buenos Aires.
Not a sauvignon blanc fan but this wine is smooth and balanced without the brassiness of most interpretations of this varietal. — 8 years ago

This is their Estate Malbec. I’ve ask Delectable to add it.
On the nose; ripe, bright fruit that has a slight sour note. Blackberries, black raspberries, blueberries with cherries & strawberries on the edge of the glass. Touch of pyrazines, black licorice, pepper, dark used coffee grounds, dark moist soil with crushed rocks, leather, woody presence with fresh dark flowers, dark lavender and some violets.
On the palate, the body is medium to full. Tannins are silty and sticky. The fruits are ripe and bright. Blackberries, black raspberries, blueberries with cherries & strawberries. Touch of pyrazines, black licorice, black raspberries cola, pepper, dark used coffee grounds, dark moist soil with crushed rocks, chewy leather, shows a fair amount of wood, fresh dark flowers, dark lavender and some violets. The acidity good and a decent finish.
Photos of, the Andes from their property. They have smog issues just like LA and Silicon Valley. The other half of their library cellar and the size of all their concrete tanks.

Light citrus aromas. Hint of oak, butter, pear, and grapefruit. Creamy texture and very flavorful. Good acidity. Some minerality to it, but very good! Quite enjoyable! — 9 years ago
Canoe Cellar Door red for the month. Very good friendly, crowd pleasing Malbec. Spiced, but not overly so. Would definitely drink again. — 10 years ago
On the nose; fresh pineapple, honeysuckle, pear, lemon, lime, melon, grapefruit pith, yellow & white florals.
On the palate, the body is full, round & waxy. Ripe pineapple, pear without skin, lemon, lime, chalky volcanic minerals, saline, yellow & white florals. Big round acidity and a nicely polished finish.
