Very different style than nearly anything else coming out of Loire or all of France. There is a darkness and depth to the fruit with an almost volitile acidity that shares more in common with italian wines than Burgundy. Cinnamon spice shows through on this heavier, interesting pinot. 2013 Vintage. — 9 years ago

Very rustic; just starting to show it's age in the orange tinged color. Etherial and warming with sweet ruby red fruits. Some volatile acidity here makes the wine complex and mysterious. Dense and full, the flavors are combing into something really unique and delicious. 2008 Vintage. — 9 years ago
