Zin isn't my favorite grape but I do give it respect - this wine has chocolate and a little coffee on top of dark berries and definite but restrained varietal character (not brambly) at 5 yrs old. Yum with pasta and red sauce and YUM with chocolate cake! — 10 years ago

Tasty, rich, & robust. (magnum bottle) — 13 years ago
Nice Azim with fruit forward flavors but not much spice. — 9 years ago
Expected this one to be DOA, but this was a really nice elegant old zin from the Eschen Vineyard. Dusty spicy old vine zin fruit in the best way possible. This is what CA wines should be all about. — 11 years ago
One of the best Zins I have tasted. Lots of pepper and spice with great tannins and a nice finish. — 12 years ago
Rich, balanced dessert wine. Tastes more like raisins than grapes, which I love! — 9 years ago
This is a big wine. Dark fruit and full bodied. I personally like it but at 16.1% alcohol, it might not be for everyone. — 10 years ago
Nice berries with some spice of goodness — 11 years ago
Lost the apricots but still delish. — 12 years ago
