Awarded in the last Vinitaly, it's an elegant, well made blend. Fruity and drinkable, smooth, well balanced in everything, long and persistent — 10 years ago
Tell me more about this great goat god's vino! He is looking like a serene Krampus, and I love the wicked intensity of Valle d'Aosta reds and their heirloom grapes.
I have an enduring sweet infatuation for the alpine wines & little known grapes of this Franco-Italian region. This one co-ferments all these grapes: Barbera, Freisa, Ciliegiolo, Dolcetto, Gamay, Petit Rouge, Fumin, Premetta!
Organic. Very dark color. Nose of blackberry, meat, tar. Thick and mouth filling. Crushed black fruits. Tar and spice. Significant density. Almost compressed black rocks. Well made with a few years of improvement ahead. $25 retail. — 10 years ago
Skin contact Great aromatics and freshness. Juicy. Fantastic with food. As good as Spanish and French wines of this style (that cost much more). — 10 years ago
