A gorgeous Barolo from 2005 vintage. The cru is Le Coste from Barolo village. The producer is Ferruccio Grimaldi (his hands in the background) from Giacomo Grimaldi winery. Out of magnum, so perfumed intense and charming. The structure is dense, silky. Lovely balance and long finish! Beautiful Barolo! — 10 years ago
Owned by Ferruccio Lamborghini, yes, the same inventor of the sportscar, Lamborghini Umbria Campoleone 2006 is a magnanimous blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot. While it won't take you from zero-to-sixty in less than three seconds, it sports a generous nose of black plums, steeped blackberries, leather, anise and flowers. On the palate, there is ample plump, juicy fruit—black cherries and spice and amid layers of ripe tannins, and enough acidity to provide both lift and length. Tasty and easy drinking. — 10 years ago

Cranberry sauce, dust, orange zest aromas. Bright strawberry jolly rancher fruit on the palate... Bramble and tobacco. Light to medium body. Would be great with food, but drinking it after dinner tonight. — 9 years ago
