Most wood forward reds seem like they have a sweet taste. Tannin was lacking but still enjoyable — 7 years ago

Brighter notes, cherry and maybe tobacco, good stuff — 9 years ago
Well balanced just a touch of oak, vanilla and peach/apricot. Overall creamy texture that adds to the experience. — 9 years ago
Aroma of lemons and citrus. Very little upfront oak taste but hints of citrus like a sauvignon blanc. Finishes with the oak on the roof of your mouth — 10 years ago
Awesome for the price. Smooth. Oak clean, lighter than normal chard no buttery taste. — 11 years ago

This is just up there with my favourite wine (The Federalist). Very rich, fruity and spicy. A wine you want to enjoy a long time. — 9 years ago
Nose of big red fruits, cherry syrup, hard candy, soft vanilla, toffee, dry grass, and cinnamon that opens up into some char notes. Many aromas find life on the palate with the addition of candy apple, menthol, caramel, and eucalyptus. Sweet and spicy fruit round out the finish with some more menthol and mint notes. — 10 years ago
