Delightful! — 11 years ago
It is simply amazing how well this wine has held up for 20 years considering it’s a Zinfandel. There is still plenty of fruit and structure. Some of the fruit is muted, but the color was on point and still pretty clear. — 7 years ago
Bright brown garnet with good gradation.
First scents: dried fig, raisins, prune, vanilla, run, barrel, woods, brown sugar.
Second note: beef, bacon, red flowers, nutmeg, dried tomatoes, black olives, cloves, red cabbage, spices. Good complexity.
Smooth fruitiness, mild acid. Good rich body, comfortable tannin and bitterness with sweet dried feign and barrel nuance. — 9 years ago
Really quite a nice wine. Just the right amount of fruit and spice and also light. Very enjoyable and surprisingly impressive age for a Rosso. — 10 years ago

Another solid vintage of this wine. Prune, mocha and baking spices on the nose. Plums, raspberries and tobacco flavors. Good structure and an affordable Brunello option. — 7 years ago
