Got this wine direct from the vineyard and love the memories from it. Caramel, rum and deep fruit flavors with a nice tannin finish — 10 years ago
Cerreto doing work. Lots of life left. — 7 years ago
Oxidative, port-like nose and showing a deep but bright golden color with orange hues. Making a striking first impression of freshly baked apple pie, complete with brown sugar, cinnamon and clove accents. Honey, almond, hazelnut, orange marmalade notes emerging but with a sense of freshness and lift. Very dry on the palate with moderate alcohol and med + viscosity, not at all heavy. Lean and supple on the mid palate, the wine is showing good movement and texture with some tannic grip which no doubt is the result of a skin maceration that probably lasted 2 or 3 days. 70 % Grieco di Castel Venere/30 % Cerreto. Good luck remembering that. Surprisingly fresh and vibrant for an orange wine. Worth seeking out. — 8 years ago

Tastes good. Ethereal Sangiovese aroma, it settles down into a composed, harmonious and refined Chianti. It has no artificial superficiality that plagues most wines these days and offers the very essence of what good wine is about. — 8 years ago
Favourite of the reds! Rich, fruit forward, jammy dodger! — 9 years ago
Extremely rich with flavor. Complex blend, so ripe and full-bodied. Love it! — 11 years ago

Color of shades of purple, mixed with ruby and brown tone, a bit cloudy. Nose is nice with concentrated dried strawberries, black cherry, leather, dark fruits, and ice wine like honey fragrance. Taste is also nice with refined tannins, subtle acidity, zest, vanilla, oak, dark fruits, and dressed with some more dark fruits. Aftertaste is savory with refined sweet and zesty note, and some more tannins. Peaking now. Enjoy now. — 6 years ago
