Velvety palate of medium+ body, rounded tannins. Zesty tart. Scented by chokeberry, wild cherry, blackthorn, juniper, dill, black currant.
Persistent chokeberry enveloped in dark chocolate finish.

Dark crimson color, cherry red rim.
Interwoven aromas of black currant, vanilla, cappuccino, morocco, blueberry jam, huckleberry, black pepper.
Velvety finely balanced palate. Medium-plus body, gentle tannins, accurate acidity. Black currant, black cherry, prune, toasted oak, smoked bilberry.
Lengthy finish accenting peppered black currant with bilberry cake.

Wow! First time I have a Joly. Super heavy first hit. Syrupy yellow colour. Nose and first taste made me think it's Sautern. But it's dry! I did miss aftertaste. — 11 years ago
