Part of Nebbiolo's deception is its ruby red color. The flavors or tar, violets, and red fruit are unmistakable. When some of your pals are switching to party whites a man must keep pounding the Reds. This is a great wine at almost QPR levels. Oaky influence on the nose & this is more opulent than elegant. Pure deep red fruit & a red apple note on the finish. Acidity is structurally in front of tannins, but they show themselves clearly as this opens up. Fantastic. — 10 years ago
