Correct pale straw/gold color with developing aromas of chamomile, lemon, and just a bit of fresh, uncooked fennel. Palate is bright and balanced with white stone fruit, Meyer lemon, nice medium + body, and a long finish that's really noticeable on the sides of the tongue. This is a really beautiful wine. Wow! 2007 vintage in magnum was destined for Thanksgiving 2013! Right in its stride. Earth, cherry, a little spice and cola. 1/2 point deduction for too much alcohol. — 12 years ago
