Rich black fruit, strawberry, dried cherry and slight toasty vanilla. Deep, balanced incredibly long finish for the rosso. Moderate tannins. Aged in French bariques. Love this one -- tasted with the winemaker (ettore) at the villa. Unique terroir in this part of Montalcino: Highest elevation (350m), micro climate with sea breeze and calcareous lime/ rocky mix. — 8 years ago

2012 vintage. Wine was refreshing especially in the heat but who cares when your views are that of the Amalfi Coast. Local little wine from Ravello. — 12 years ago

I don’t typically like Italian wine, but this one is BIG and yummy. This wine is from the Abruzzo region of Italy. It’s juicy, a bit peppery, and and a very drinkable wine — 8 years ago
