The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of Ken Wright Cellars' traditional vineyards. Though not at the same level of complexity as the vineyard designates, this blend is extremely enjoyable. Ruby with red berry fruit and spice. On the palate thus fruit forward blend, from 9 blocks of Ken's best vineyards, is lush and full of Pinot fruit, raspberry and cherry and complex spice. Enjoyed at Auberges des Seigneurs in Vence, rural Provence. A perfect accompaniment to fire roasted chicken and Provençal vegetables. Rose petals on the nose, flavours on the palate encompass apple cider, crème brûlée, lemon citrus, and sweet grapefruit. Beautiful balance of acid and sweetness. Long satisfying tart finish.
