The nose is plum, funk, mushroom, loads of earth and rocks, tobacco, and a whiff of lavender. The tannins have started to relent revealing more balance and freshness as it recedes. 2011 - 94% Cab and 6% Shiraz. Very nice value wine. Dark fruit with some oak flavor and a really nice fruity finish. Similar to Rioja Aftertaste, for whatever reason. Absolutely will buy again. — 11 years ago
