Dry on the palate with chewey velvety tannin and vibrant acidity full bodied with medium plus alcohol. Matured spice and fruit lasts into its long finish. Drink now through 2020. I bought this wine simply because it was from Ardeche and it brought back warm fuzzy memories of a cold rainy weekend. Cab Sauv, stout right out of the bottle. Tart cherries right away, almost effervescent. Dark fruits on the back, almost blackberry and plums. — 13 years ago
