The privat is the top selection from kranachberg on only select vintages, the bunches that go into this are hand selected by Maria Sattler to be harvested very last. Crazy depth on nose, brown sugar notes. The palate is concentrated kaleidoscope of sb flavors: deep and pensive — 9 years ago

Macaroons from France to pair with this wine... Erich Bradley we are so privileged to know you! Fucking fabulous. (I told everyone one word descriptor...). Bananas. Maraschino cherries. The perfect end to a beautiful meal. — 9 years ago
Erich Bradley's newest side project, Texture... This is some seriously great Pinot. — 10 years ago
Kaffir lime leaves, the dashing of rocks against the Saar river, and just a whiff of a sunflower floret. This honest wine from Erich Weber in the Mosel is the liquid equivalent of 'Blue Sky'. Take that Walter and Jesse. -DM — 10 years ago
I'm not sure if Erich Weber's wines are as complicated or complex as some of the "important" wines of the Middle Mosel, and besides, i've only ever drank them very young, but they are extremely pure, perfectly balanced (which is saying something in the modern era of Riesling,) very delicious, they sing at the dinner table, and they speak perfectly of the lower Saar valley. Besides which, they have that leafy green flavor that I adore. So really, what more could you possibly ask?? — 11 years ago
