Citrus nose, some banana. Great flavor. Nice acidity and well balanced. Some banana in the flavor and lingers on the ending, too. — 9 years ago

This is a serious Barbera! — 11 years ago
Quite good, rounded and full. Not quite as complex as the Castello di Morcote. Less structured and more fruit than the Quattromanni. — 8 years ago

Unique nose, but still fruity. Interesting flavor. Very good, quaint. Likeable. Can see it going well with a chicken dish or cream sauce. — 9 years ago

Comment: Beautifully balanced nose that makes your skin crawl. This Barolo has deep baking spice notes balanced with herbs humid hay and a warm peppery balsamic finish. Pepper hits the palate first followed by dried herbs (organo, thyme) and a slight cherry/strawberry finish. Silky smooth tannins that give this a beautiful mouthfeel! Yum! — 10 years ago
Very nice, oak smell but slightly sweet and very smooth. — 11 years ago
