Modium finish and body, fruity yet well balanced. — 7 years ago
Still holding more of the red color than the other 64s, but very nice tar and roses, and after 4hr decant well integrated with lots of life. — 8 years ago

Nice smell of plums and dark fruit. Definitely a good wine. By itself, the acid and sourness overpowers the fruit, but when paired with pizza, the sourness softens and the fruit emerges ... red cherries, maybe black currant. Really nice. — 6 years ago
2012 saturated, blu/purple, room-filling, earthy spice and fruit aromas. Nearly perfect with classic dolcetto fruit. — 7 years ago

Really clean with ethereal fruit. Unbelievable for 1964. — 9 years ago
The 2008 Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno Nebbiolo d'Alba is a really tasty treat. 100% Nebbiolo, mainly from Diano D'Alba, it has a pretty ruby color and a nice smoky aroma. You'll get a mouthful of spice and raspberries upon tasting it. Definitely fruitier than most of the classic Piedmont varietals, this wine still obviously has years to mature and turn into something really special. — 9 years ago
Luscious now. Better in 5 years. — 10 years ago
