French Connection Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

This is for the 2010 French Connection. Beautiful wine - nose of wet asphalt and limestone, with flavors of dark black currant and blackberry with bittersweet chocolate. Sublime. — 10 years ago

Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

2006! This wine was SO good aged. Nice light sweetness, a tiny bit of tannins, lovely fruits and awesome leathery taste and feel. If we weren't out of it is buy them all. — 9 years ago

Still one of the strongest Rosés I've had or made. Super tasty, good hit of acid with nice creaminess. — 9 years ago

Cupa Grandis Grand Barrel Reserve Peck Ranch Vineyard Block 7 Petite Sirah

Offputting aroma slants the view of this delicious 16-year-old petite Sarah. It drank wonderfully -tannins rounded fruit still- there seamless. — 9 years ago

Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

2013 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

Picked this up on a trip to Paso a couple months back and was blown away by it. I still am. Raspberry and cherry dominate the fruit on the nose, which is backed up by sweet herbs and bell pepper, followed by nuanced vanilla and caramel notes.

On the palate the fruit shines but is joined by mocha and coffee flavors. The tannins are a bit too aggressive for my tastes but will settle down in a few years. Great cab that can get better.
