Green apple with a hint of petroleum on the nose. Lemon predominates with high acid. — 5 years ago
The fruit. The tannins. The acid. The balance. CANNOT drink enough TOP. Chocolate and blueberries on the nose. Deeper berries and plums and straight up velvet tannins. The perfect tannins. Hit you when you sip. Elena Martinez and Stanley Barrios are the genius. — 7 years ago

Refreshing, yummy rose with strawberry finish... — 8 years ago
Tangy leesy quince and preserved lemon make for a departure from the typical fainter Cava. Substantive without weight and floral on a savory spectrum, this is delicious right here on its own but I imagine would pair well with tender pulpo over crisp, roasted potatoes under a gentle shake of ground paprika. — 8 years ago
Rich and creamy. Very well done. At Enoteca di Canale in Langhe. — 10 years ago

Bright, sweet peppers like pop rocks and damn good — 11 years ago
A blend of Trepat (50%) with Monastrell (30%) and Pinot Noir (20%), the ‘Los Cupages de Mestres’ Rose was disgorged in 2018. Very delicate red cherry and guava tones combine with musty aromas of wild mushroom and peat moss on this expressive nose. The palate has a soft mousse and wonderful balance and poise. Lighter watermelon and red raspberry collide with shades of blood orange and pear infused Challah bread flavors. Complex, round and generous, this is a complete Cava Rose by Mestres that will cellar well over the next ten to fifteen years. Drink 2020-2033- 92 — 5 years ago
