Deep almost blackish red coloration. Wreaks of elementary school marks-a-lot, licorice, and forest floor. Weighty attack of blackberry compote, licorice, and cassis with medium finish of chewy tannins and bright acidity. Still has some weight and tannin to shed but will retain its freshness due to its great amount of acid. — 9 years ago
