Got it from the domaine. Still great. A lot of minerality with an interminable linger. — 10 years ago
Fascinating Rhone style white blend with a wack of Chardonnay. Exotic fruit, oily mouth feel and interminable finish. 10+ for interest. — 10 years ago
Goes to show WA can produce top quality VP like SA and Victoria. Liquorice and interminable length. 18- — 10 years ago
Viscous, dark, hazy, oaky, cooked brown sugar with interminable finish. Excruciating burn neat, but incredibly smooth with any amount of water, including 2:1 dilution to mimic the now discontinued EC 12 year bottling (ABV 45%). One of best barrel proof bottles around. — 8 years ago
Douceur d'une longueur interminable — 9 years ago
Incredible concentration. The consistency of engine oil - coating the inside of the glass. A note of orange peel - also reminiscent of cough medicine. A finish that is interminable and a privilege to drink. No option but to give a perfect score. 20. — 10 years ago

Vibrant, intriguing, eloquent nectar made of Heida (Savagnin Blanc), idiosyncratic to Valais.
Dense shimmering brass color, golden glitters.
Wet hay, mint, soaked apples, quince, sage, limestone, pinecone. Caramelized peach.
Fat-bodied, zesty palate. Lively acidity supported by tough mineral kick and kumquat peels, unripe cantaloupe, bruised quince, laurel, sage flavors.
Interminable finish...
Unique winexperience!

Pairings... I tried several ones.
First was 'C_Bro favorite': cute little bunny, trapped, skinned, disemboweled and baked in sourcream with allspice, garlic, onion, juniper, carrots and thyme.
Than - moderatetly spicy grilled reindeer sausages.
And finally mature + blue mold cheese plate.
All three played well. — 9 years ago

— 8 years ago
