A steal at $16. Perfect with Sushi. Ian Cauble recommended decanting for 60 minutes and serve between 45-55 degrees. Spot on! "This wine's sea air, old vines, and inimitable soil deliver a sensory experience on par with Chablis." — 8 years ago
2012 This seems to be at its best. Light well balance but short finish. — 8 years ago

Notes of blueberries, cherries, and dark chocolate. Tannins opening up in the decanter. Best served around 19 degrees Centigrade. — 9 years ago

Great wine! Will age well! — 10 years ago
Beautiful tropical nose with clear hints of vanillin oak. This has serious presence on the pallet and the texture shows serious restraint that really pays off, it is so supple and perfectly delicate and fresh. Touch of granite minerality. WOW!
Seriously outstanding. — 10 years ago

Dry Riesling. 3 brothers. — 12 years ago
St. Innocent Winery was founded in May 1988 by Mark Vlossak, with eight investors. Ten tons of grapes were crushed the first fall, producing about 575 cases of wine. Deep red with berry fruit aromas, spice and floral notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors, juicy with herb pepper notes. Fine tannins, nicely balanced with acidity on a lingering finish ending with fruit and earthy mineral. Nice value. — 8 years ago
Great value. Very tasty & smoooooooth — 9 years ago
I'm generally drawn to things that are varying degrees of aspirational and innovative. This transcends both and is a true picture of authenticity. Power & finesse in perfect balance. Youthful tannins add textural detail, fruity, smoky & savory. Loved every drop. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby red in color with a red rim.
What a gorgeous nose, with vanilla, spices, blackberries, cherries, oak, chocolate and black pepper.
Medium + in body, smooth and elegant.
Dry and smooth on the palate with cherries, black currants, Wood, vanilla, smoke, oak, spices and black pepper.
Long finish with round smooth tannins and peppercorn.
This is an awesome wine. Eight years old and showing a great capacity to age even longer.
If it had a little less vanilla this would be a perfect score, for me. If vanilla is your thing, this is it. Great Napa Valley Cabernet.
Only 400 cases were produced on this Howell mountain Reserve. 94 points wine enthusiast.

Great with Steak on a chilly night — 10 years ago
Garnet. Orange medium-sized rim.
Lovely balanced with aromas of cigarbox, dried red apples, figs and chocolate. Really a blend of red ripe fruits and dark fruits. Peppery.
Dry. Medium acidity. Medium high plus tannins. Medium plus alcohol. But very well integrated. Full, lean body.
Great balance.
Serve at 16 degrees celsius with braised ox, cabbage and butter fried artichokes.

Great spicy Syrah. Palo Alto 2017 — 8 years ago
Bright aromas of sour red cherries, rhubarb, earthy spice and some savorury/stalky herbal qualities. Both and weight both immaculate. Supple, fluid, intense and great length. Drinking well now with develop just stating to peek through the primary fruits. Still has time. — 9 years ago
Very nice. Supple tannins, excellent length and fruit. — 9 years ago
Fruit forward nose of green apple, lemon zest, grapefruit and some slight yeasty tones and oak influence. Citrus palate, good to go — 10 years ago
Pale straw colour with hints of green apple. A bouquet of tropical fruits with some herbaceousness and again that green apple edge. Juicy lemon, melon and grapefruit flavours with a light mineral edge and perhaps some dry herbs on the finish. Not overly acidic and although initially quite concentrated it opened up quite quickly. Worth noting that the vineyard's tasting notes advise drinking it within the first 2 years of release. Overall a good value, if atypical, Marlborough (which we found in Costco) though alas not at all to my wife's taste! — 10 years ago
Great red. — 10 years ago
