Lovely Pinot noir that’s more rustic and less fruity in taste than other Californian producers but it’s a good wine to enjoy on its own or with some nice roast ham.
Overtones do have some plum and light fruits so it will tickle those tastebuds. — 2 years ago
Every time I drink a Two Shepherds wine I wish I had more in my cellar. A true “Rhône ranger” producing some of the best rhône-style wines in California. We all need to drink more Two Shepherds and support innovative winemakers who think about product quality before profit and ratings. Thanks to my dear friend Bruce for introducing me to Two Shepherds and supplying me! — 4 years ago

Pretty classic cooler climate Cali chard. With some orchard fruits and a very well balanced palate. — a year ago
The color is a beautiful purple magenta. On the nose - blackberry-raspberry fruit, sandalwood, eucalyptus with notes of chocolate, licorice and vanilla. Wow what can you say! A rich, juicy and medium bodied smooth wine. Black fruits with blueberry dominate and just snaps from the glass blended with chocolate and licorice notes followed by a hints of bacon and espresso and a mineral black pepper long finish. You can drink this wine all night long!! — 2 years ago
Deep purple colors in the glass. Heavy cab with blueberry, vanilla, and tasting notes of earth. Very yummy cab and went perfectly with pot roast. — 4 years ago

Strawberry nose. Cooked strawberry in the glass. Low alcohol and classic California fruit. Fruit forward but well balanced with good acidity. A good one for a great price if you like this style. — 8 years ago
