Citrus, melon and very nice on the tip — 9 years ago
An impressive showing. Hints of the exotic without scarifying its typicity. Just had more and didn't fall off. A cool triumph over Dauvissat on this night at The Eddy with JS. — 10 years ago
Yum! Not a huge fan of hops or bold beer but this is DELICIOUS!!! — 10 years ago
B+ typical of the varietal. Not the nose barnyard funk, slightly vegetal. On the palate dark fruit and barny. Great wine. Bottle. Eddy, NYC. — 10 years ago
Full purple color and a great nose if cherry, licorice and smoke. On the palate was full of rich red fruits with a mineral undertone. — 10 years ago

Primitivo (Zinfandel) red wine. Eddy bought at Trader Joes — 12 years ago
A confusing wine that is working out for the better. The color suggested advanced and seemed on first whiff to be a little soft but, true to its scrappy self, it recovered quickly. Sappy as fuck, slightly seafaring and reminiscent of the medicinal properties of Bragg's, in a good way. Has nice complexity but I wouldn't sit on it. Eddy — 9 years ago
A very nice, bold peppery Bordeaux blend. First class airfare from your glass to Bordeaux. No checked baggage required. Best part is this is an easy drinking accessible big French red - drops all pretensions and just delivers a solid glass. As Eddy Money would sing: I think I'm love... — 9 years ago
Rich yet incisive. Great at The Eddy — 10 years ago
Wow! Current release, a beautiful coppery color. A massive success with food and a beautiful oxidative style. Eddy — 10 years ago
This edges out the Montee de Tonnerre from a few weeks back. Excellent wine. Tight upon opening, with a bold golden color, but was quintessential and classic after an hour in the decanter. Just entering the window of goodness, I would say. Lovely at the Eddy with my pops — 11 years ago
Wonderful wine. Tom eddy is a genius. Could see it even better in 2-3 years. — 11 years ago
Super strong from sip 1. Complex, baby grand Cru lifestyle. Tropics on the nose. Complexity without heaviness. EDDY — 11 years ago
Surprisingly very smooth and even mixable. $25 / 89pts — 12 years ago

From The Eddy- oaky pre-decanter, took about an hour to settle in, great raw materials but not quite ready to dance yet — 11 years ago
Tom eddy wine? Well balanced with good fruit.. Black currant alluring nose. Good acidity. Soft fruit tannins. A little hot on nose. Long - finish. Great mouth feel. Drinking great now — 11 years ago
First runner up. Cleaner and direct and got somewhere with aeration. A more than fine bottle of wine but Vaulorent played its trump card. EDDY — 11 years ago

Hard to express how good this was. Somehow this bottle managed to retain all of what was likely great about it on release (acid balance, snappy minerality) and just ADD complexity and length. Stunning. Very long finish which tempered mushrooms and choose your own umami with a painful tidal pool and steely finish. The Eddy w/ C&C — 9 years ago
