Traditionalist Rioja. Things are run the same way as 100 years ago at López de Heredia. The wines from the Tondonia vineyards (located in a curve of the river Ebro) are aged in big, very old, oak casks for six years. After that they are aged another six years in the bottle before they hit the market. This is super comfortable and elegant. Sit back and relax. — 9 years ago
