This wine pairs two distinct personalities. The first is a smooth, medium plum body that accounts for about 40% of it's character. The other 60% is a forward, bitter acidity, like a bitter, underripe blackberry (or perhaps grapefruit). A slightly dry note loiters after swallowing and dessicates the back of the throat, but it's not too troublesome. It's my favorite cab to date! — 7 years ago

Love this winery. Everything they do is great. Probably the signature winery of Paso Robles. This was my last bottle of 2 cases of this wine I bought 6 years ago. Decanted for 30 minutes, probably needed more time but was still outstanding. — 10 years ago

Melange of white varietals tasting more or less like a California Central Coast white Rhône blend, in a good way—minerally, slightly herbal, complex and food friendly. Reminded me of Eberle Cotes-du-Robles Blanc. Enjoyed the 2016 vintage with a dozen $1 Wednesday Special oysters, grilled Spanish octopus and Crab Louis salad. — 7 years ago
