Straightforward French cider, dry but not bone dry... Hint of funk, slightly, would take more but still quite nice. — 9 years ago

1997 vintage. Medium Amber hue. Medium intensity of apples, Perry pears, honey, vanilla. Apple sauce, wood resin, cinnamon, toffee apple. With water added, more wood and vanilla notes to the fore. Very aged. On the palate, off dry, smooth integrated alcohol. Full bodied, pronounced flavour intensity of apples, pears, honey and toffee apple. Long finish, highly complex spirit. — 9 years ago

1976 vintage. Slight smell of cork was worrisome at first. But this wine was gorgeous and still singing. Smell of cork persisted. Bricking as expected, sous-bois, mushroom. A gorgeous wine. — 9 years ago

Velvery smooth, but big deep flavor. Disappointingly short finish, but still great. First try, impressed overall. — 8 years ago
