Bottled May 30, 2014. A little bit of added weight due to the aging. Really nice. — 8 years ago
Carmignano classico, sangiovese, i due cabernet e merlot. Grande morbidezza e equilibrio, tannini gustosi e facili da bere, bei terziari che spostano in alto la complessità. Il Carmignano spesso resta in disparte ma merita veramente tanto. — 8 years ago
Very rich tasting wine for summer - best enjoyed with some BBQ. Reminds me of Argentinian wines. Dark berry aroma. Cherry, dark berry taste with some oak finish. — 9 years ago
Very good flavour. — 9 years ago
Our Christmas dinner wine. Love everything about this wine. Excellent tannins. Soft, structured. Maybe slightly young still. But a rare find. — 9 years ago

When you have to travel on a Sunday, and that Sunday happens to be Mother's Day, you're not exactly psyched. This little oasis in the Delta Sky Club afforded me the opportunity to smile. Not a bad pour, regardless of the price. Typical Lynch-Bages cigar tobacco and leather with some luscious and velvety black fruit. Finished a little flat, most likely due to being open for a while in the fancy automated pour gizmo. But still smiling! — 7 years ago
Way too young. Couldn't enjoy the wine much due to not enough breathing time. Will wait for another 20 years. — 8 years ago
Tasted from a 3 Liter/Double Mag. This wine is a big Yquem. The fruit flavors I get are honey melon, peach and pineapples. The botrytis is massive in this wine. I even prefer this wine to the 83, 86 and 89. However, due to the rains in 82, there is not much to go around. Harvest began on September 16 and ended on the 25. Five weeks of rain follow. They will waited until November 7 to make a final pass. — 8 years ago
It confirms the main characters of the previous vintage. Black pepper in the end, alcohol and acidity very well balanced — 8 years ago

Used my Vinturi aerator and it was very tasty... Blackberries with a moderate tannin finish. Pleasant Cab.

I opened this same bottle in 2011 and was not impressed due to the strong tannins. 2 years later, this bottle has evolved! The berries are very prominent at the onset and the finish lingers at the back pallate. Loving this wine now! — 11 years ago
Still rather youthful! — 11 years ago
By far the best US wine I have ever enjoyed. Maybe due to my passion for blend d reds.i feel blending reds in the Bordeaux fashion enriches the shortcomings of single vine products. Moderate body, multiple aromas from earth, slight oak, slight berry almost like a cross of left and right bank Bordeaux. If you find this wine and do not want to try me please notify me, I want it! :) — 7 years ago
Lush black fruit flavors accompanied by lavender spice in the bouquet. This one sneaks up on you with the 15% abv. A modern take on the pleasures of drinking wines from the Cotes due Rhone. — 7 years ago
Really enjoyed this- needed a gentle decant, due to quite a bit of sediment, but I was rewarded with dusty leather, sautéed mushrooms, rich earthiness, and a touch of bramble. As it opened, I got a bit more ripe plum, dried dark cherry and some cedar. The low alcohol (13.3%) and noticeable acid made this well integrated wine, a great food wine. I had it with sautéed shallots, green beans, and a filet in brandy peppercorn cream sauce. Very enjoyable! — 8 years ago
Dark fruits, some sweetness balanced by soft tannins. Delicious on its own or with food!! — 9 years ago
Spicy and fruity, really delicious to drink on it's own. Near minerality due to shale in soil. — 9 years ago
'Two vines' a fantastic blend of Sangiovese & Nero d'Avola — 10 years ago
This rating is heavily based on setting. But solid summer drinking choice. — 11 years ago

Lovely dark and fruity. Great with steak and pork. I love the mixture of the negromaro grape and primitivo grape. — 7 years ago
