I'd say the quality is "top", even if the price is lower than the 1st & 2nd labels & that juice didn't make it into those bottlings. No?
Top quality no doubt. Surprisingly so for a 3rd label, which was my initial point

Been wanting to try this for a while. Slightly raspy tannins with greener profile than the Pichon Longueville 86 or Latour 94, and drier finish. Light tannic grip and more green peppers on the nose. Good stuff. Can still keep. — 11 years ago

I saw this on the specials chalk board at Bistro Jeanty, Yountville and squealed my delight before bounding inside to verify it was indeed one of my favourite ciders that I used to enjoy in England. Gold standard! Such complexity and wonderful fruit. — 11 years ago
