Sweet and light. Excellent desserty Riesling. — 10 years ago
From Ernie's private cellar! He makes one barrel a year only for personal consumption and lays them down for 25 years. This '90 Graacher Himmelreich is the current release and must be the best Sekt in Germany. I think it would give some top Champagnes a run for their money in a blind tasting. #notmessingaround — 11 years ago

First ice wine so I cannot compare but very good and aficionados I was with said it was very good. Couldn't disagree. — 11 years ago
Touch of petrol, lemon and lime, pear, apple, and candied peach. Cracking lip smacking acidity that intertwines with the residual sugar, then after the long finish the flinty minerality shows slightly. Super fun to drink — 5 years ago
Bouquet is kind of non existent. Slight pear and limestone quality.
Solid effervescence, acidity, sweetness, fruit, and mouthfeel.
Most importantly though, missing the bone dry fresh blades of grass quality that I usually love in Riesling.
This is an expression for the masses to check a box, not discover and gush. — 6 years ago
Expressive and floral nose, sweet attack, light and refreshing. Low alcohol and great acidity — 6 years ago
On the tropical 🏝 spectrum with good focus and acid — 7 years ago

Tastiest Rippling evs. Limey, bit of fizz. — 10 years ago
This is a wine that has not been released. It has the similar notes as the 2011 regular release bit this was a crazy experiment by dr loosen to let the wine sit on lees for 24 months instead of 12 months much more of a cheesy rind more — 10 years ago

Just on point with 🌶 chili-lime wings — 7 years ago
Had this one in late August and it's now end of October, so I can't remember every detail. But I remember the sweetness was not overwhelming and balanced extremely well by the acidity, which was very well integrated and not at all in your face like some austere young Rieslings. — 8 years ago
Right on the money with this Riesling! Straw in color and star bright. Nose was filled with lemon-lime, honeydew, Granny Smith apples, wild honey, citrus blossom, ginger, and new plastic pool toy aromas. The palate was extremely well balanced and the acidity was high and puckering. The tart lemon and lime flavors held through the finish. The finish was surprisingly long, and it was a nice medium-minus body. This Riesling provides a solid compliment to spicy sushi and spicy foods. It holds up strong and has a lot of backbone. All in all, this is your Riesling if you are looking for a refreshing, acidic, dry breath of fresh air. Instant favorite of mine! Washington dry Rieslings are spectacular. Cheers! — 9 years ago
2006 vintage. Rich, super fresh acid, honeyed and dark gold. — 10 years ago
I'm stunned to find an ice wine I like. Sweet but well balanced and with strong creamy/buttery notes. — 11 years ago
